Michael was raised in Texas and received a Bachelor of Art degree in Design and Photography from Texas Tech University. After graduating he worked for the Richards Group as a designer. After several years of working on accounts in the real estate, financial, airline and oil and gas industries, Michael cultivated his own clientele and began freelancing. Since, Michael has developed a niche as an illustrator, and has an established reputation as one of the best technical illustrators in the oil and gas industry today.

Michael and Sandy have been collaborating on various projects since the early 1990’s.
